The Y offers group exercise classes for every level, interest, and age group! With trained group exercise instructors, and a fun and supportive environment, you’ll find a class to help you reach your health and wellness goals. Come out and enjoy your favorite Y classes and instructors with friends as you exercise and stay healthy together.

Group Ex Class Descriptions
SPIN
We have a variety of Spin classes! Some will take you through hill climbs, intervals, and sprints on the bike, others follow with a strength focused circuit. Circuits will take place off the bike utilizing bodyweight and dumbbells. All will take you on a ride with energizing music and an upbeat atmosphere, you’ll enjoy the challenge!
This intense, 45 minute class, combines cardio and core! We will spend 30 minutes working through a traditional Spin class with hill climbs, intervals, and sprints, followed by a 15 minute core circuit utilizing dumbbells and body weight. This classes focuses on improving cardio endurance, sculpting and strengthening your core, and building lean muscle.
This intense, 60 minute class, combines cardio and hiit! We will spend time working through a traditional Spin class with hill climbs, intervals, and sprints, followed by high intensity circuits utilizing dumbbells and body weight. This classes focuses on improving cardio endurance, sculpting and strengthening, and building lean muscle.
SPIN-lates is the ultimate 45-minute fusion class designed to maximize your Friday morning workout, every Friday from 6:30–7:15 am. The session begins with 30 minutes of high-intensity indoor cycling, pushing your cardiovascular fitness with thrilling sprints and climbs. Immediately following the cardio blast, you’ll transition to 15 minutes of dedicated mat work, utilizing Pilates principles to focus on deep core strength, stability, and controlled body movements. This powerful combination ensures you get both a calorie-torching endurance workout and a full-body sculpt to leave you feeling energized and strong.
CARDIO
Cardio classes challenge you to increase heart rate and endurance while using large muscles, to get the body moving! Improving your cardio endurance helps keep muscles strong and efficient, while boosting overall mood, lowering risk of heart disease, aiding in weight loss, and reducing stress!
Not just for runners! This ultimate calorie-burning workout involves high intensity interval training (HIIT) for the entire body using treadmills, body weight, dumbbells, barbells, bands and more. A nice blend of 50% strength and 50% cardio with something for everyone!! Is low-impact training your only option? No worries. Modifications for all movements will be provided.
A challenging combination of cardio and strength training using dumbbells and bodyweight exercises. SLAM! all major muscle groups, and improve your core stability and cardiovascular health.
Explosive Tabata floor circuits – 8 rounds of 20 seconds all-out effort + 10 seconds’ rest
You’ll flow straight from TRX muscle-building sets into heart-pounding Tabata rounds and right back again — keeping your heart rate spiked and muscles firing the entire class.
Dance at a slower pace. This class is a combination of strength, basic low impact cardiovascular segments, balance and flexibility. Specifically designed for those who prefer a great workout without the added impact to joints. Great for beginners and active older adults.
POWER CIRCUIT is your high-energy, 45-minute wake-up call designed to kickstart your day with strength, power, and total-body conditioning!
Jump into a fast-paced circuit format where you’ll rotate through dynamic stations using a variety of equipment. Each round is a series of exercises designed to build muscle, torch calories, and boost endurance. Expect full-body engagement, minimal downtime, scalable intensity (modifications available).

DANCE
Dance your way to fitness! Each class offers different routines to help you tone and have fun doing it. Dance classes can also aid in improving posture and body control, endurance, confidence, and energy.
Are you ready to party yourself into shape? Forget the workout, just lose yourself in the music and find yourself in shape at the original dance-fitness party. Zumba® classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before you know it, you’ll be getting fit and your energy levels will be soaring! It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating.
STRENGTH
Build friendships and muscle with strength classes at the Y! From basic to advanced, our strength classes are designed to increase lean muscle mass to help improve your performance of everyday activities. Classes will utilize dumbbells, weights and body weight, for a full body workout.
BodyPump is barbell workout choreographed to music, that challenges all major muscle groups. Class consists of squats, presses, lifts and curls as you strengthen, tone and define your entire body. You determine the level you’ll work at by choosing the appropriate weights with lots of repetition. Modifications shown for all fitness levels.
Inspired by elite athletic training principles, LES MILLS CORE™ is a scientific core workout for incredible core tone and sports performance. You build strength, stability and endurance in the muscles that support your core, improve balance, assist injury prevention, and become better at everything you do.
All the moves in LES MILLS CORE have options, so it’s challenging but achievable whatever your level of fitness. During the workout, trained Instructors guide you through correct technique as you work with resistance tubes and weight plates, as well as bodyweight exercises like crunches, and hovers. Plus there are some hip, butt and lower back exercises too.

Strength 101 consists of basic and beginner cardiovascular and strength training exercises. This class is designed to help participants gain stamina, and build lean muscle mass, while increasing balance and flexibility. Perfect for anyone new to exercise and looking for a low-impact group class.

LES MILLS GRIT™ Strength is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength, cardiovascular fitness and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and bodyweight exercises to blast all major muscle groups. It involves short bursts of intense effort followed by recovery periods, all structured to maximize heart rate and calorie burn.
Jump in the pool for a fun and challenging workout. Greater mobility, reduced pain and fatigue, increased muscle strength and enhanced sleep quality are just a few of the benefits of a regular fitness workout in the pool. This class uses low intensity exercises with use of noodles and barbells. Focus is on cardiovascular fitness, overall strengthening, toning and range of motion.
This fun, high energy water workout blends Latin inspired dance moves with low impact aquatic exercise, all set to upbeat music. It’s a great way to improve cardio endurance, strength and flexibility- while being easy on the joints and welcoming for all ages and fitness levels.

Senior Group Exercise Classes concentrate on improving strength and flexibility so daily living activities become easier. Whether you’re looking to stay in shape or increase social interaction, we have something for everyone.

An accessible form of yoga practiced sitting on a chair or standing using a chair for support. Chair Yoga is gentle on the joints, and builds strength and flexibility slowly, allowing your body to adapt gradually. This gentle class combats stress, improves circulation and enhances flexibility through gentle relaxing poses and breathing techniques. Ideal for those with mobility and balance challenges.You will increase your range of motion in all your joints as you build endurance and stamina.
MIND & BODY
Grow longer and stronger as you work through movement designed to increase your flexibility, release tension, and improve posture. Breathing techniques will further enhance the yoga practice. This class is designed for all levels.
Pilates Sculpt is a dynamic, full-body workout that combines the core-strengthening principles of Pilates with light resistance training to tone, lengthen, and sculpt your muscles. This class integrates controlled movements, small props, and bodyweight exercises to enhance strength, stability, and flexibility. Designed to build lean muscle and improve endurance, Pilates Sculpt delivers a low-impact yet highly effective workout, leaving you feeling strong, balanced, and energized. Barre is a full-body workout that combines ballet, yoga, pilates and strength training. This low-impact exercise uses small, controlled movements to build strength and improve flexibility. Barre is a workout for any fitness level at any age!
