Pillars of Wellness, Mindful Wellness is partnering with the Duneland Family YMCA to deliver mindfulness skills-based workshops to the Duneland community.

Join us Thursday, April 2nd from 5:30pm-7:00pm at the Duneland Family YMCA Healthy Living Campus – 651 W Morgan Ave. Chesterton, IN.


The Mindful Wellness workshops offer instruction on a variety of mindfulness-based skills, experiential learning, and interactive group question & answer opportunities to foster deeper learning. Instructors will guide practitioners how to create and maintain their own ongoing independent practice.

Throughout the program, participants will…

-understand core mindfulness principles and how they support overall wellness across physical, emotional, and mental health domains.
-learn and practice foundational mindfulness skills (e.g. break awareness, body awareness, and present-moment attention) through guided experiential exercises.
-develop increased self-awareness and self-regulation skills, enabling them to respond more effectively to stress, emotions, and daily challenges.
-engage in reflective discussion and group inquiry, deepening understanding through shared experiences, questions, and peer learning.
-gain practical tools to establish and sustain independent mindfulness practice, including strategies for consistency, adaptation, and integration into daily life.
