Home School Enrichment
The Duneland YMCA Home School Enrichment Program provides a well-rounded, engaging experience for students in grades kindergarten through 12th, blending fun and education in a supportive, social environment. This program offers a variety of activities designed to enhance children’s physical, creative, and academic development. Students can participate in swim leagues, where they develop water safety and swimming skills, as well as a range of sports activities that promote teamwork, fitness, and healthy competition. The program also features STEM-focused sessions that foster critical thinking and problem-solving, alongside art activities that encourage creativity and self-expression.
With a dynamic blend of activities, the YMCA Home School Enrichment Program ensures that every child has the opportunity to explore new interests and strengthen their skills. Sign up for some classes, or sign up for all! Prices vary by class. All classes will run February 1 – May 31 on a monthly basis, at the Duneland YMCA Healthy Living Campus – 651 W Morgan Ave. Chesterton, IN (Use Porter Ave entrance)

Home School Sports
Homeschool gym activities provide students with opportunities to develop physical fitness, teamwork, and motor skills through fun and engaging exercises. These sessions are designed to accommodate a range of ages and skill levels, ensuring that each student benefits from participation. Activities emphasize the importance of staying active, building confidence, and fostering a love for movement in a positive and inclusive environment.

Home School STEM
VEX Robotics is educational robotics for everyone! Beyond science and engineering principles, VEX encourages creativity, teamwork, leadership, and problem solving among groups. VEX GO is approachable, creative, and inspiring! It teaches learners the fundamentals of STEM through engaging, hands-on experiences. All learners are encouraged to participate and explore ways to create and cooperate with others. VEX GO unlocks a learners’ imagination with possibilities! Home School Swim
Home School Swim Program is designed to help students from kindergarten through 12th grade improve their swimming skills in a supportive and structured environment. Whether your child is just starting or is ready to take their swimming to the next level, we have a class for them! The Bronze level is perfect for beginners, offering traditional lessons to build foundational skills. The Silver level is for more advanced swimmers who are ready to swim laps and refine their strokes, with the requirement of swimming 50 yards without stopping. For those looking to truly master their skills, the Gold level focuses on perfecting stroke technique while introducing racing starts and turns. Registration is required, so sign up today and watch your swimmer thrive!
Home school swim will take place from 12:00-1:00 pm on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays from February 1 through May 31, 2025.
