Youth Winter Volleyball League
Our volleyball programs are designed for players of all abilities who want to have fun, take part in healthy competition, and develop their skills. Players will learn the fundamentals of the game and the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and sportsmanship. Volunteer coaches provide support and encouragement and serve as positive role models for youth.
Our Youth Winter Travel/Combo Volleyball League is open to all youth ages 7-16. We will offer three different age divisions: Ages (7-9), Ages (10-12) and Ages (13-16)
It’s a great opportunity for your children to compete in a semi-competitive volleyball league.
Be Part of an organization-wide volleyball league that gives members the ultimate volleyball league experience. Multiple Organizations will be participating, allowing your children a vast array of competition.
Our league will consist of teams from the Duneland YMCA, and the Portage YMCA.
At the YMCA, all of our youth sports coaches are volunteers. If you would like to make a positive impact in a young person’s life, please consider volunteering. Contact CJ Peters at [email protected] to volunteer. Participating families will receive $10 off for volunteering their time to coach!
Team placement emails will begin going out after sign-ups end. The email will be sent to the email address on file for the participant to be registered, so please make sure it is up to date.

Biddy (Ages 7-9)

$18 Jersey (Maroon & White)
Location: Practices: Duneland YMCA. Games: Will rotate between Duneland YMCA, Portage YMCA and the Valparaiso Boys & Girls Club
Practice Details: Monday Nights, Starting February March 5, between 5:00 and 7:00pm
Game Details: Games will be held on Friday Nights, with teams playing a 7-week game schedule from March 8-April 26. Game dates are March 8, 15, 22, April 5, 12, 19, 26 (Medal Day) No game on March 29 – due to Easter Weekend
Other Important Details: This league is designed as a combo league, which will have teams from the Duneland YMCA and Portage YMCA
