Get your introduction to America’s pastime at the Duneland YMCA!  Our T-Ball Programs are designed for players of all abilities who want to have fun, take part in healthy competition, and develop their skills. Players will learn the fundamentals of the game and the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and sportsmanship.  

With practices during the week and games on Thursday nights, participants from ages 3 to 5 will learn the basics of baseball while making new friends!  

Bring your gloves, and we supply bats and helmets, but you are welcome to bring your equipment if you have it. If you do not have a glove, we will have extras for you to use. 

Participants will get an opportunity to bat and field twice. Practices and games will be held at the Duneland YMCA.

At the YMCA, all of our youth sports coaches are volunteers. If you would like to make a positive impact in a young person’s life, please consider volunteering. Contact Rodney Wash at [email protected] to volunteer. Participating families will receive $10 off for volunteering their time to coach! 

Team placement emails will begin going out after sign-ups end. The email will be sent to the email address on file for the participant to be registered, so please make sure it is up to date.

Division Breakdown 

Mini Division (Ages 3-4) 

• Practice info: Are held for 1 hour on either Monday or Tuesday at the Duneland YMCA.

• First practice is June 30. 

• Game info: Games will be held on Thursdays with teams playing a 4-week game schedule. 

• The games will be on July 10, 17, 24 and 31. 

Other Important Details: This league is designed as a combo league, which will have teams from the Duneland YMCA and Portage YMCA.
